Overlooking the clear waters of the Bay of Palermo, at the foot of Monte Pellegrino, Hilton Villa Igiea Palermo retains much of the elegance and romanticism of the "Belle Epoque" in which it was established.
A landmark for more than a century, since its design by famed architect Ernesto Basile,
the hotel is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau.
Surrounded by terraced gardens, and due to its location at 3 km from the commercial center of the city, the Hilton Villa Igiea
Palermo is the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
The Excelsior Hilton Palermo is located in the commercial heart of the city, next to viale Libertà,
the English Garden, Villa Garibaldi and Villa Trabia.
Built in 1891 to house the National Exhibition of Palermo, the recently refurbished Excelsior Hilton
Palermo Hotel is considered to be one of the most prestigious historic hotels in Sicily.
Initially intended to be dismantled at the end of the art show, its success and the idea of
transforming it for use as a hotel led to the building that we see today, following careful
restoration by the architect Ernesto Basile to whom the project was entrusted in 1925.
The Grand Hotel et des Palmes
Via Roma, 398, 90141, Palermo, Italy
The Grand Hotel et des Palmes was founded in 1874 by the ancient patrician family Ingham - Whitaker, previously built in 1856 and connected by a secret passage to the Anglican Church which still faces the hotel. The building became an hotel after the transformation done by Ernesto Basile, one of the greatest masters of the Art Nouveau style, in 1907.
The Grand Hotel et des Palmes, located in the very heart of Palermo's historical centre, offers the perfect location to explore the historical and cultural sites of Palermo by foot. It's one of the most legendary hotel s on the island of Sicily, having welcomed illustrious visitors since the 19th century including Richard Wagner, who finished Parsifal within one of its luxuriously-decorated suites.
