Cleveland, Ohio, October 17 - 20, 2016
The 22nd Ka and Broadband Communications Conference and the
34th AIAA International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC), the two most influential
technical conferences on satellite communications systems, will be held jointly in
Cleveland, Ohio, on October 17 to 20, 2016.
The theme of the Joint Conference is "Communications Satellite Systems:
A Look Back at the First 50 Years and Thoughts on the Next 50".
In keeping with the Joint Conference theme, the Ka conference is looking for papers in the topics below with
special interest on communications and propagation efforts at the Q/V band following the work presented in the
past two years, papers on the new systems that are being proposed in the geostationary and polar orbits, and
papers on communications systems planned and being explored by the space agencies.
In addition, papers on near term plans and issues affecting the entire satellite industry are welcome and
desired, especially in the areas of new applications and expansion of satellite services to underserved areas
of the world.
Market ready innovative equipment and services that can benefit the entire industry, in space systems and
on the ground, may be presented by special arrangement and approval by the Organizing Committee.
