Niagara Falls, Canada, October 15 - 18, 2018
Authors are invited to submit electronically a reasonably detailed abstract (maximum 2 pages including figures) to either the Ka and Broadband or ICSSC Communications Conference by June 8, 2018.
To submit an Abstract, Authors must first be registered at the Joint Conference website and use the login credentials assigned by the website registration system.
Abstracts must include title, author's name, affiliation, full postal address, phone, and e-mail address. Care must be taken to ensure the accuracy of the data entered in submitting the abstract, since the data entered will be used to compose the Preliminary Program.
Each abstract should be submitted to only one of the two Conferences. Selection must be made by choosing the one desired before abstract submission and following the instructions given for each conference.
Papers submitted to the ICSSC Conference will be published and archived by the professional engineering association IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and will be accessible via IEEExplore.com.
Abstracts must use the PDF file format for speed and accuracy and must be prepared according to the KA Paper Template or ICSSC Paper Template.
Authors uploading an Abstract to the Joint Conference are confirming that the uploaded Abstract complies with the Ka Conference Publication Ethics and Malpractice or ICSSC Conference Publication Ethics and Malpractice rules and guidelines.
Poster Abstracts/Papers must be submitted only to the ICSSC Conference.
All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Ka and ICSSC respective Technical Committees which reserve the right to accept or reject any submitted paper, to assign accepted Abstracts to Sessions and to reassign any abstract from one conference to the other if the abstract is judged to be more suitable for the alternate conference.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail only to the lead author on or before June 22, 2018. Authors, whose abstracts have been accepted, must confirm their willingness to submit and present their paper(s) by July 20, 2018.
Once the abstract submission deadline passes, authors will no longer be able to submit new abstracts or modify previous submissions or any other submission details. Please carefully proof your submission before the deadline.
If your submission is accepted for presentation at the Joint Conference, the author designated as the lead author will be the only author with access to upload the final manuscript.
Authors having trouble submitting abstracts electronically should contact Ka Conference Organizing Committee at email@example.com
Questions pertaining to the abstract or technical topics, or general inquiries concerning the program format or policies of the conference, should be directed to the pertinent Technical Program Chair.
The lead author of an accepted abstract is the only author with access to upload the final paper.
Final publication-ready papers must be electronically submitted in PDF format by September 7, 2018 using the tab below.
Each paper should be submitted to the Conference to which the abstract was submitted. Please follow the instructions given for each conference.
Authors uploading a paper to the Ka Conference are confirming that the uploaded paper complies with the Ka Conference Publication Ethics and Malpractice or ICSSC Conference Publication Ethics and Malpractice rules and guidelines.
Authors are responsible for obtaining all needed sponsor, employer and/or government approvals of their papers with sufficient time to avoid last minute withdrawals, and should also be aware that the final paper requires the completion of the Conference Copyright. Authors and their companies/sponsors retain all rights to the published paper.
The final publication-ready papers must be prepared according to the KA Paper Template or ICSSC Paper Template and must be accompanied by a completed and signed Ka Copyright Agreement Form or ICSSC Copyright Agreement Form which grants permission to publish the manuscript in either printed or electronic form.
The Copyright Agreement must be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Authors having trouble submitting full papers electronically should contact the Conference Organizing Committee at email@example.com
Questions pertaining technical topics, or general inquiries concerning the program format or policies of the conference, should be directed to the pertinent Technical Program Chair.
Please note that the Ka Conference papers will be archived in the Online Proceedings of the Joint Conference web site and have been accepted for their inclusion in SCOPUS and Engineering Village Compendex. ICSSC papers will be published and archived by the professional engineering association IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and will be accessible via IEEExplore.com.
To ensure conference quality, the "no paper, no podium" rule will be enforced. This policy states that if the paper is not uploaded to the site by the given deadline, the paper will not be allowed to be presented at the Conference, even if it is included in the Conference Preliminary Program.
The presentation of each accepted paper requires the payment of one registration fee. Please note that each additional paper will require the payment of a USD 400.00 processing and handling fee.
If an author fails to pay the registration fee the paper will not be allowed to be presented at the Conference and not archived in the respective Ka and ICSSC archival system.
